CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — One was killed while 14 other drug suspects were arrested in the different police operations against illegal drugs conducted by Bulacan police on Thursday and early morning Friday.
P/Sr. Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office identified the suspect who died during the police operation in City of San Jose del Monte as certain Alias Louie, other data unknown.
Based on the report, an armed encounter ensued between drugs operatives of CSJDM police against the suspect during a buy-bust operation conducted in Phase 4B, Towerville, Brgy Minuyan Proper, in the said city on Thursday about 11:10 pm.
Investigation revealed that during the transaction, when alais Louie noticed the presence of the police officers, he drew his gun and fired towards the operatives that prompted them to retaliate which resulted in the suspect’s death, while his cohort managed to elude arrest.
Recovered from the crime scene were 10 heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”; one Cal. 38 revolver with serial No. 1107350; spent shells; buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia. Recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination.
Moreover, Bersaluna added that 14 other drug suspects were arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations conducted in the towns of Balagtas, Hagonoy, Guiguinto, Pulilan, San Miguel, Marilao, and Sta Maria, wherein 36 plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”; 9 plastic sachets of suspected dried “marijuana” leaves; buy-bust money; and drug paraphernalia were confiscated.
The arrested suspects were identified as Alvin Nieva, Celso Umali Jr, John Carlo Sebastian, Raymon Castro, Esperanza Magat, Israel Gabonada, Ryan Reyes, Analiza Coballes, Liezel Ollet, Jacob Cruz, Marlon Mapuyan, Jeffrey Ramirez, Charlie Javier and a 17- year- old girl.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for examination. While appropriate criminal complaints against them are now being prepared for filing in court. (RONDA Balita Online News)
