CITY OF MALOLOS – A total of 46 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Bulacan on Monday afternoon (July 27) with seven recoveries and no additional fatality, the provincial public health office reported.
Among the new cases were a 100-year-old female from Marilao and 95-year-old female from Baliwag while a 10-year-old girl from Bulakan was the youngest.
These bring the total confirmed cases of the viral disease in the province at 1,140 with 747 active cases, 347 recoveries and 46 total fatalities.
Ten of the new cases were from San Jose del Monte; nine from Hagonoy; seven from Bulacan; six Meycauayan; five Baliwag; two Marilao and one each from Pulilan, Santa Maria, Guiguinto, Bocaue, Calumpit, Malolos and Obando.
The three cities of San Jose del Monte, Malolos and Meycauayan that have 258; 124 and 85 cases respectively account for almost 41 percent of the total confirmed cases in the province.
Among the municipalities of Bulacan, Marilao has the highest number of confirmed cases while the town of Donya Remedios Trinidad town has the lowest at six and the rest ranges from 10 to 66 cases. (RONDS BALITA Online)
