14 “drugs suspects” nabbed in Bulacan illegal drugs raid


CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Fourteen drug suspects including a motornapper were arrested in different anti-illegal drug raids conducted by Bulacan police on Thursday (July 11) and Friday (July 12) early morning.

P/Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan Provincial Director identified the arrested drug peddler and motornapper as Leonard Estacio.

Based on the report of P/Lt. Col. Rizalino Andaya, Bocaue chief of police, Estacio was arrested together with his two other cohorts identified as Jerome San Pedro, 31 years old, male, with live-in partner, jobless, a resident of Purok 6 Brgy. Kambaog, Bustos and Sherwin San Pedro, 33 years old, while in the act of selling sachets of “shabu” to a police poseur buyer during a buy-bust operation in McArthur Highway, Brgy. Wakas, Bocaue, Bulacan on Thursday about 7:30 a.m.

Thirteen plastic sachets of “shabu”; buy-bust money; one unit of motorcycle and tricycle were confiscated.

Bersaluna said the three suspects have known sources of illegal drugs in Brgy. Wakas and its adjacent barangays of Bocaue.

Upon verification of the confiscated motorcycle from suspect Leonard Estacio, it was found out that said motorcycle Mio Soul with plate no. 4624 -BG was owned by a certain Jerome Vergel De Dios of Brgy. Sta.Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

The MC’s owner immediately went to Bocaue police station upon knowing that his motorcycle was recovered from the suspect. The owner averred that his motorcycle was stolen while parked unattended between 11-12 pm on Wednesday in front of Mersan Building in Cagayan Valley Road, Sta. Cruz, Guiguinto.

During the investigation, suspect Estacio disclosed that they were responsible in the series of motornapping incidents that transpired in Bocaue area and nearby municipalities.

Bersaluna also identified the 11 drug suspects arrested by the Bulacan police in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations in Baliwag, Guiguinto, San Rafael, Plaridel, Balagtas, and Pulilan.

They were identified as Jennielyn Cruz y Flores alias Jen, 36 years old, included in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list; Armida Deliva y Matic alias Bidang, 38 years old; Paul Cyrus Yap y Dela Cruz, 33 years old; Edwin Guevarra y Adriano alias Edwin, 28 years old, included in the BADAC watch list of San Rafael MPS; Crisanto De Jesus y Yamata alias Crisanto, 36 years old, included in the drug watch list of Plaridel MPS; Roland Dave Espiritu y Romales alias Dave, 25 yrs old; Ryan Sulit y Hernandez alias Ryan, 35 years old, included in the BADAC watch list of San Rafael MPS; Loiyd De Guzman Y Dela Cruz alias Loyd, 25 years old, included in the Drug watch list of Plaridel MPS; Norven Angeles y Cruz alias Piso, 28 years old, male, resident of Brgy. Tibag, Pulilan, Bulacan, with previous case of RA 9165 and included in the drugs watch list of Pulilan MPS; Miriam Redondo y Garcia, 32 and Nelson Pascual y Domingo, 45, a native of Parañaque and both residing at Brgy. Dampol 2nd A, Pulilan, Bulacan

Confiscated were 16 heat-sealed plastic sachets of “shabu”; two (2) heat-sealed plastic sachets of dried “marijuana” fruiting tops and buy-bust money.

“The arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination. Criminal charges against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court, ” Bersaluna said. PNA
