2 killed, 1 injured in Bulacan robbery


PLARIDEL, Bulacan – Robbers kill two and one in a heist in this town early Monday (Jan 7) morning.

A report by Supt. Laurente Acquiot, police chief of this town, identified the fatalities as Sylvia Castillo, 64 years old and Cyrene San Pedro, 14 years old while the injured as James Cyrus Maliksi, seven years old who are all residents of Isabel Village, Barangay Tabang in this town.

Initial police investigation disclosed that victims were awakened by the robbery and tried to resist the heist but were stabbed several times in the different parts of their bodies.

San Pedro and Maliksi were brought to Melverey Hospital while Castillo was brought to La Consolacion Hospital.

San Pedro and Castillo were declared dead on arrival by attending physicians while Maliksi was confined for medical attention on the injuries he sustained.

Acquiot reported that the unidentified suspects fled after the incident and brought with them stolen items from the victims. (RONDA Balita Online News)
