2 killed, 12 arrested in Bulacan drug war


CITY OF MALOLOS – Two killed while 12 others were arrested in buy-bust operations Bulacan on Thursday.

Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., acting Bulacan police director, identified the fatalities as Ariel Pascual and Allan Oloroso.

Pascual fired at arresting police operatives after transacting a drug deal in Barangay Coral na Bato in San Rafael town, Caramat said and added that police recovered six plastic sachets of suspected shabu, a caliber .22 revolver without serial number, loaded with five fired cartridge cases and a Kawasaki Bajaj tricycle without license plate number with body number of Tangos Toda E324.

While Oloroso was tending his store in Barangay Santo Nino in Plaridel town when five unidentified suspects wearing bonnets approached him and shot him dead and fled on board motorcycles without license plate, Caramat added.

On the other hand, 23 plastic sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from 12 suspects who were arrested in drug stings in the City of San Jose del Monte and the towns of Baliuag, Angat, San Miguel, Bulakan, San Miguel and Norzagaray.

Carmaat identified the arrested suspects as Ronaldo Torres y Mangulabnan @ Ogie; Abril Fabian y Apostol @ Eboy; Mark Marquez y Menese; Randy Decepida y Longabilla @ Randy; Arlin Dagandan Y Arellano @ Len; Tirso Palad y Pascual @ Tisoy; Solidad Palad y Torres @ Sol; Tristan Diego y Dela Cruz; Joseph Gutierrez y Cayeta @ Pikolo; Ernesto Rivera y Rodriguez @ Dudol; Ronaldo Juco y Castro @ Roy and Jessie Arcilla y Urminita @ Daboy.
