2% lang sa 175,000 pulis ang scalawags — PNP Chief

NASA dalawang porsyento lang umano ng kabuuang 175,000 members ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang mga “scalawags” o mga “bugok” ayon kay PNP Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

Ito ang ipinahayag ni Dela Rosa sa isinagawang pulong pangbalitaan kamakalawa ng hapon sa Police Regional Office (PRO) 5 sa Camp Simeon Ola sa Legazpi City, Albay.

Dagdag pa nito na nasa 3,500 na mga pulis o 2 porsyento lang ang mga bulok sa organisasyon o yung mga sangkot sa iba’t ibang ilegal na gawain.

Nagtungo sa Albay si Bato bilang panauhing pandangal ng isinagawang 116th Police Service Anniversary na idinaos sa Kampo Ola.

Nangako naman si Bato na malapit nang matapos ang maliligayang araw ng mga scalawag na miyembro ng kapulisan dahil sa patuloy na ‘cleansing process’ ng pamunuan ng PNP upang malinis ang kanilang hanay.

“I will make sure that these police scalawags’ days would end soonest, as the police cleansing process is in full speed. We will try our best to cleanse our ranks. As I have said before, it cannot be done overnight or weeks, months or year,” pahayag ni Dela Rosa.
