2 suspected members of ‘Bukas Kotse Gang’ killed in shootout

PULILAN, Bulacan — Two unidentified members of “Basag Kotse Gang” were neutralized along NIA Road, Palayan St., Barangay Cut-cot here in the said town on Monday, Sr. Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna, Acting Bulacan Provincial Director said.
Based on the report from Supt. Arwin Tadeo, Pulilan police chief, about 9:30 a.m. operatives promptly responded upon receipt of a report from a concerned citizen regarding two suspicious unidentified male factors onboard a red Rusi tricycle in Brgy Cutcot.
“The police team followed and saw the suspects entered NIA Road, Palayan St., while being chased by the operatives, upon reaching few meters away at the Gate 2 of Casa Buena De Pulilan, Brgy Cutcot, Pulilan, the suspects stopped, got off the tricycle, and engaged the operatives in a shootout which resulted in the neutralization of the suspects,” Bersaluna added.
Recovered were one .38 caliber handgun without serial number loaded with 2 cartridges and 4 fired cartridge cases, 1 hand grenade, 11 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu; a red Rusi motorized tricycle, with plate no. CA-81613, 2 cellphones, assorted mechanical tools, and 1 suspected looted Motolite battery.
Seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examinations.
The cadavers of the suspects were brought to Superior Funeral Homes in Brgy Bintog, Plaridel, Bulacan for paraffin and autopsy.
Appropriate criminal complaints are being prepared against the suspects. (RONDA Balita Online News)
