22 arrested in Bulacan anti-criminality operations

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Twenty-two were arrested by Bulacan police in an anti-criminality drive on Friday (July 5).

P/Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP said that anti-drug operatives of the towns of Baliwag, Bocaue, Guiguinto, and Hagonoy conducted different buy-bust operations that resulted to the arrests of eight suspected drug peddlers.

Bersaluna identified the arrested suspects as 1) Erwin Peralta y Sales alias Tobats, 34 years old; 2) Marvin Nicanor y Gayas alias Papeng 32 years old; 3) Samir Jose y Carlos alias Samir, 27 years old; 4) Ingke Legaspi y Candel, 21 years old; 5) Jaime Alarcon y Villarin, 51 years old; 6) John Patrick Alarcon y Villarin, 25 years old; 7) Romeo Hilario y Agustin alias Romy, 49 years old; 8) Jayson Palomo y Pedrialba, 31 years old.

“Seventeen plastic sachets of shabu, three plastic sachets of marijuana and bust money were confiscated from the suspects,” Bersaluna added.

Meanwhile, tracker teams of cities of Malolos, San Jose del Monte and the towns of Bocaue and Baliwag conducted separate manhunt operations that resulted to the arrests of four wanted persons identified as 1) Jennifer Centeno y Nicolas, 46 years old, arrested in Brgy. Bulihan, City of Malolos, Bulacan for Estafa Through Falsification of Public Document with recommended bail of P36,000; 2) Robert John Miel y Orbania, 31 years old, arrested in Brgy. Sto. Cristo, CSJDM, Bulacan for Violation of Section 5(i) of R.A. 9262 with recommended bail of P24,000; 3) Jose Joel Dela Cruz y Bautista, 47 years old, arrested in Brgy. Poblacion Bocaue, Bulacan for Grave Threats Malicious Mischief and Slight Physical Injuries with P3,000.00 bail recommended; 4) Sidney Bustamante y Geronimo 34 years old, arrested in Brgy. Concepcion, Baliwag Bulacan for Violation of Section 5(i) of RA 9262 (Violence against Women and their Children) with P72,000 bail.

Moreover, 10 persons involved in motorcycle racing that caused Alarm and Scandal in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Angat town were arrested by local police.

They were identified as 1) Jeff Kevin Cristobal y Federipe, 27 years old; 2) John Patrick Rios y Espayos, 22 years old; 3) Chester John Aguinaldo y Castillo, 20 years old; 4) Vladimir Maningas y Castillo, 25 years old; 5) John Rhex Halipa y Marcial, 21 years old; 6) Ralph Christian Celestino y Palad, 18 years old; 7) Jessie Bien Celestino y Palad, 18 years old; 8) Henrick Samson y Zacarias, 19 years old; 9) Patrick Nicolas y Dimalanta, 19 years old and 10) Joseph Salvador y De Leon, 24 years old.

Confiscated from the suspects were one black Honda Wave 100, black Honda TMX 155, orange Yamaha Mio, gray Yamaha Mio and skeleton Yamaha Mio.

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
