CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Three suspected drug peddlers were arrested by the joint elements of Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 and Mexico Municipal Police Station in a buy-bust operation conducted Wednesday morning.
In a report submitted to PRO3 Director P/Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus identified the 3 drug personalities as Lorna Belmonte, 58 years old, vendor, a resident of Area-C Sapang Palay, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan; Roland Cirunay, 49, farm caretaker and his live-in partner Marilou Abalos, 42, jobless, single, both residents of Nueva Victoria, Mexico, Pampanga.
Based on the report, the buy-bust operation was conducted at about 11:45 am at Brgy. Nueva Victoria, Mexico, Pampanga.
Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were 9 transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, P500 marked money, illegal drugs paraphernalia and 3 pcs. mobile phones.
Charges for Violation of Sec 5 and 11 of RA 9165 are being filed against the arrested suspects.
Further investigation revealed that Lorna Belmonte and Roland Cirunay were previously surrendered to police authorities during the massive implementation of “Oplan Tokhang” in line with Double Barrel.
Corpus said that the entire Central Luzon police force is relentless in its campaign to stop the proliferation of all forms of illegal drugs in the region. (RONDA Balita Online News)
