CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Malolos City Station Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested three suspected drug pushers in different drug buy-bust operations Wednesday in a several barangays here as the Philippine National Police (PNP) resumed its role in the war against illegal drugs.
In a report submitted to P/Sr. Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan Provincial Director, P/Supt. Heryl Bruno, city police chief identified the suspects as Joseph Zamora, a resident of Brgy. Mojon, Edwin Estrella, 33-years-old, with live-in partner, mechanic, a resident of San Pablo and Eduardo Lim, 47, single, driver, of Blk 20, Lot 9 P2 B, Menzyland Subd., Brgy. Santissima Trinidad, all in the City of Malolos.
Bruno said that police personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit, and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted illegal drugs buy-bust police operations at Barangay Mojon, San Pablo, and Santissima Trinidad on Wednesday.
The suspects were arrested after selling “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride to an undercover operative.
The police confiscated from Zamora 6 elongated transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and buy-bust money of P500 while 3 plastic sachets recovered from Estrella, who listed no. 2 in BADAC watchlist of Brgy. San Pablo and Lim nabbed after selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.
The suspects are now detained as police filed charges against them for violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act as amended. (RONDA Balita Online News)
