CITY OF MALOLOS – Four people were killed and 14 others were injured in a road accident at the Bypass Road in San Rafael town on Tuesday.
Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, acting police director of Bulacan, the accident involved three vehicles, an Isuzu forward truck with license plateTMT 766 driven by Fernando Velasco Jr. of Aritao, Nueva Ecija; a Mitsubishi L300 with license plate ATA 8702 driven by Danny Magdayao, resident of Barangay Calumpang, San Miguel, Bulacan; and another Mitsubishi L300 with license plate TGI 294 driven by Emiliano Mendoza Jr.
Initial investigation said the two L300 vehicles were traveling fast at the southbound portion of the Bypass Road in Barangay San Roque in San Rafael town when one of it hit the rear portion of the unproperly parked forward truck that encountered propeller trouble causing it to stall and the other L300 tailing the first L300 was not able to evade bumping it.
Report reaching the provincial disaster risk reduction management office (PDRRMO) of Bulacan said 14 of the victims were from Cavite and four from San Miguel, Bulacan.
The PDRRMO report identified the fatalities as Ilang-ilang Mendoza, 50 years old; Cathlyn May Mendoza, 30 years old; Asea Cruz, 2 years old and Gyver Cruz, 30 years old who are all from Cavite.
Eight of the injured victims were brought for medical treatments at the ACE Allied Care Experts Medical Center in Baliwag town and were identified as Emiliano Mendoza, 51 and driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident; Arnaldo Mendoza, 83, years old; Feliza Gaboy, 38 years old; Danica Gaboy, 17 years old;; Syrone Mendoza, 21; who are all from Cavite.
Jomar Suprago, 26 years old; Vohance Eunice Yucoquiat, 4 years old and Heinzwin Lagamon 16 years old who are all from San Miguel, Bulacan.
Those brought to Galvez Medical Center in San Ildefonso town were identified as Erica Joy Gaboy, 18 years old; Hayley Gerrzamon Quinto, 3 years old; Kariza Guinto, 25 years old; Patricia May Gaboy, 18 years old; and Angelica Cruz, 11 years old who are all from Cavite.
And the only one brought to Rugay General Hospital in Baliwag town was Danny Magdayao, who was the driver of one of the vehicles and a resident of San Miguel town. (RONDA Balita Online News)
