Police Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan provincial director, said the four suspected pushers were neutralized in separate operations in San Jose del Monte City, Pandi, and San Rafael.

According to Bersaluna, based on the report of P/Lt. Col. Orlando Castil Jr., CSJDM police chief, at about 1 a. m. on Thursday, suspects Ansiboy and Banay were killed in an encounter after the consummated transactions.

“Recovered from the crime scene were (a) caliber 38 revolver, an improvised shotgun, 17 small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu, one plastic sachet of marijuana, a Honda Click motorcycle, and PHP500 marked money,” he said.

“The suspects sensed that they were dealing with undercover agents, drew their firearms and fired towards the operatives prompting them to retaliate hitting the suspects that caused their death,” Bersaluna added.

Meanwhile, he said drug suspects Amador Medina and Reynaldo del Rosario were killed in separate buy-bust operations in Pandi and San Rafael, respectively.

A total of 14 plastic sachets containing shabu, two calibers 38, ammunition, and buy-bust money were recovered from both crime scenes.

Moreover, separate drug operations were conducted by the operatives of Baliwag, Marilao, Meycauyan City, City of San Jose Del Monte, and Santa Maria police stations that resulted in the arrest of 15 suspects.

Bersaluna identified the arrested suspects as Regie Dionisio, Ronaldo Bernardo, Robelyn Garcia, Rolando Felix, Michael Angelo Manalang, Jefferson Cantorne, Jamil Alfornon Orangan, Norberto Quisias, Chito Indoma, Jason Reynaldo Jersy Mangaron Ricafrente, Kyle Vincent Catungal, Erwin Jeffrey Samson, Mark Balantad and Ireneo Cruz.

A total of 22 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, two bricks wrapped in paper containing dried marijuana leaves, five other blocks wrapped in transparent plastic containing marijuana, and marked money were seized from all 15 suspects.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examinations while criminal complaints for Violation of R. A. 9165 are being readied for filing against them in court. (RONDA Balita Online)
