CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — The Provincial Health Office (PHO) in Bulacan has recorded the highest COVID-19 recovered cases in one day at 435 and bringing in the total tally of recovered patients to 3,625.
Records from the PHO as of 4 p.m. Friday (Sept. 25) showed that out of the total 5,254 confirmed Covid-19 cases, 1,522 are on active status.
PHO also confirmed 23 fresh cases of coronavirus and 195 late cases bringing the total number of new COVID-91 cases in the province to 218 and the total number of death to 98.
According to Dra. Joy Gomez, PHO chief the towns and cities with the most number of COVID-19 positive cases are the City of San Jose del Monte with 1,075 cases followed by City of Malolos with 499, Marilao with 455 cases, and the City of Meycauayan with 443 confirmed cases while the municipality of Donya Remedios Trinidad registering the least number of cases with only 30 positive patients.
Governor Daniel Fernando renewed their call to Bulakenyos to follow the health protocols of proper handwashing and sanitizing, the wearing of face mask and face shields, and observing the minimum one-meter physical distancing.
Meanwhile, Gov. Fernando sent a message to COVID-19 frontliners in the province of Bulacan.
“On behalf of the people of Bulacan province, your servant sincerely thanks our Bulakenyo Covid-19 frontliners,” Fernando said.
He added that words are lacking to describe our gratitude for your important contribution to our society during this challenging time. We recognize your faithful service, regardless of the danger, for the safety of our countrymen.
“Thank you to our medical frontliners; doctors and nurses, medical technologists and medical staff… ..you will never turn away from sworn duty, despite the risk to your own safety. And to our valiant police and soldiers 24/7 guard our checkpoints for strict enforcement of the Enhanced Community Quarantine,” Fernando added. (RONDA BALITA Online)
