CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — More patients under investigation (PUI) and person under monitoring (PUM) have been cleared of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), Provincial Health Office – Bulacan said on Thursday (March 26).
Pat Alvaro, Provincial Health Education Promotion Officer, confirmed to RONDA BALITA Online through a phone interview that as of March 26, 2020, 58 patients under investigation and 599 persons under monitoring were already cleared of the dreaded diseases
But, Alvaro added, as of March 26, PUM cases in the province has risen to 1,491 active cases compare to only 666 cases on Tuesday (March 24) while PUI is 266 patients.
Bulacan PHO post in their official social media account showed that the province has 10 cases of confirmed infected of Covid-19, three deaths, 2 from San Ildefonso and one in SJDM.
The other active PUI cases were two from Malolos City; three in San Jose Del Monte City; one in Guiguinto, one in Bulakan and one in Baliwag.
On Tuesday, Baliwag Mayor Ferdie Estrella’s second Covid-19 test was tested negative and was sent home after 14-day recovery and quarantine procedure in a private hospital.
Last March 17 and 20, the father and son from San Ildefonso town died of said infectious disease, the Bulacan first and the second fatality recorded by the Bulacan PHO.
It was learned that the father, contracted the virus from his son who just arrived from London to attend a relative birthday party. (RONDA BALITA Online)
