Angat Dam’s water elevation has again fallen below its critical level


CITY OF MALOLOS – The water elevation of Angat Dam has again falls down below its critical level of 160 meters for the second time this current rainy season Thursday morning.

Sevillo David Jr., executive director of the National Water Resources Board, confirmed to The STAR that Angat Dam’s water elevation was monitored at 159.93 meters as of 6am yesterday that is down from 160.30 meters same time on Wednesday.

The dam’s Low Level Outlet is currently operational to maintain the current water allocation for the potable water needs of Metro Manila residents of 36 cubic meters per second or around 3.1 billion liters per day, David said. (RONDA Balita Online News)
