BALAGTAS, Bulacan — A total quarantine lockdown has been declared in Barangay Panginay in this town starting noontime Thursday (June 25) until the early morning of July 3.
In an advisory, Barangay chairman Rolando “Tabo” Santiago, advised his constituents on Wednesday (June 24) “Puede na po kayong mamalengke mula ngayon hanggang bukas ng tanghali.wala na pong papayagang makalabas pasok sa ating barangay.lahat po ng namamasukan,na hindi taga Panginay hindi na po muna kayo makakapasok o makakauwi.stay home lahat po ay hindi na papayagan pang lumabas mula bukas.”
On the other hand, Darwin David, provincial director of the Department of the Interior and Local government in Bulacan told RONDA BALITA Online that local government units can declare quarantine lockdown based on the situations in their localities.
He also confirmed that several LGUs have already made inquiries in declaring quarantine lockdown in their places.
Meanwhile, the provincial health office of Bulacan reported as of Wednesday 4:00 pm that there are 9 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province bringing the total confirmed cases to 332, the total number of patients that have recovered at 176 and the total number of deaths at 34.
