In accordance with the policies under the Office Memorandum OM-OSEC-2020-002 dated March 26, 2020, by the Department of Education (DepEd), the governor said that public classrooms can be used as quarantine areas to help minimize and prevent the spread of the disease among the cities and municipalities in the province.

The governor also gave a directive through the memorandum to enforce a resolution or ordinance in every city and municipality that strictly requires every individual to wear surgical face mask when going outside or when in public places in compliance with the resolution of IATF.
