Bulacan has 17 confirmed COVID-19 cases of health frontliners

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A total of 17 COVID-19 health frontliners in Bulacan have been confirmed to have contacted the viral disease, Dr. Jocelyn “Joy” Gomez said.

However, Gomez did not specify what category the health frontliners belong to and where they are confined but added that there are also a total of 77 suspected cases and 35 probable cases of COVID-19 health frontliners in Bulacan.

Gomez also said that Dr. Marianito Galicia who recently died from COVID-19 has a history of risk exposure as a visiting physician at Roquero Hospital in the City of San Jose del Monte and was confined at the Bulacan Medical Mission Group in Bocaue before he died.

On the other hand, records from the Bulacan Provincial Police Office have it that there are nine of its personnel were considered probable cases wherein seven were were already cleared and two under quarantine while 39 personnel were considered suspected cases and 30 of them were already cleared and nine still under quarantine.

Meanwhile, as of Thursday (April 30), 4 p.m., Provincial Health Office confirmed 4 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 118.

The four new cases coming from 2 males, aged 42 and 47 from City of Malolos, one 29 years old female from Marilao and 39 years old from Santa. Maria.
