Bulacan motornapper killed in hot-pursuit operations

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – An armed motornapper who forcibly took at gunpoint a motorcycle from its rider was killed in a hot-pursuit operation on Friday night (July 31) in San Ildefonso town.

The suspect was identified by Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, as Federico Sioson.

Initial police investigation showed that Sioson together with an unidentified companion forcibly commandeered his motorcycle in Barangay Makapilapil in the said town around 11:40 pm and immediately reported the incident to police authorities that immediately launched a pursuit operation.

The pursuit operatives together with the victim eventually caught up with the suspect driving the stolen motorcycle a black Yamaha Mio Soul with license plate  3018 OH and tried to flagged it down, however, they were met with successive gunfire  forcing the responding police team to retaliate hitting Sioson in the different parts of his body causing his immediate death.

“Police recovered two plastic sachets of suspected shabu, the driver’s license of Sioson and the stolen motorcycle,” Cajipe said.
