Bulacan police chief relieved for ‘raping’ inmate

HAGONOY, Bulacan — The chief of police of this town was immediately relieved on Thursday from his post for allegedly raping an inmate inside the police station.

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, acting Bulacan police director immediately relieved P/Supt. Kim Cobre, chief of Hagonoy Police Station.

Bersaluna said that he relieved Cobre from his post after the family of the alleged victim filed a complaint against the chief of police.

He, however, did not provide any other details about the complaint and said that they are still conducting an investigation on the alleged incident.

It was learned that the victim revealed to her family during visit hour that she was allegedly raped by Cobre inside the police office. (RONDA Balita Online News)
