SANTA MARIA, Bulacan — Bulacan police have discovered an undocumented cigarette warehouse in this town Wednesday afternoon (May 27).
A police report said that Niño Castillo who was wearing a PNP athletic short was walking in Barangay San Vicente-Muzon Road was spotted by chance by the roving patrol of the 4th maneuver platoon, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) of the Bulacan PNP.
The police inquired why Castillo was wearing the kind of short, instead of answering the question the suspect run inside a warehouse where police discovered three Filipino workers and three Chinese nationals, without face masks, loading packs of Mighty and Moon cigarettes on a wing van truck.
The report added that the police officers sought the assistance of the Joint Inspection Team of Sta Maria Municipal Business Permit and Licensing Office, led by Richard Clemente, and coordinated with the local police station to conduct inspection and verification of the G20 Environmental Solutions Group warehouse located in Brgy. Parada in this town and allegedly owned by a certain Estella Nepumuceno of Brgy San Gabriel also in this town.

The caretakers failed to show any and eventually, the seven suspects were arrested and brought to the local police station for proper disposition.
In the meantime, the said warehouse is being guarded by elements o the 2nd PMFC led by Lt. Salvador Ricafort Jr.
Meanwhile, the Bulacan police have coordinate with the Bureau of Customs and Mighty Cigarette Corp. for the verification of the documents of the said cigarette packs and have also coordinated with the Bureau of Customs for further verifications and proper actions. (RONDA BALITA Online)
