Bulacan PPO bagged 4 awards in 117th Police Service Anniversary

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office under the leadership of Police Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna bagged four different awards during the celebration of 117th Police Service Anniversary held on Friday (Sept. 21) in Police Regional Office 3, Camp General Rafael Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

P/Sr. Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan Provincial Director turn-over the ceremonial key of the newly acquired patrol vehicle to Supt. Gerry Andaya, Calumpit Chief of Police.

Police Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, PNP chief together with Police Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, PRO3 Regional Director led the awarding of outstanding PNP units and personnel that rendered excellent and dedicated service to the public in its pursuit of peace and order.

The following are the recognitions received by Bulacan PPO: Unit with Most Notable Accomplishment in the campaign against illegal drugs (National); Best Police Provincial Office (PRO 3); Most Notable Accomplishment in the campaign against illegal drugs (PRO 3); and Special Unit Award with Most Exemplary Accomplishment on Internal Cleansing (PRO 3).

This year’s anniversary celebration carries the theme, “Pagbabago sa Hanay ng Pulisya Hatid ay Ligtas na Pamayanan Laban sa Korapsyon, Krimen at Ilegal na Droga”.

Meanwhile, Bulacan PPO received two Toyota Hi-Lux Patrol Jeep Single Cab along with 24 Kevlar helmets during the blessing and turned over ceremony also held in Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on the same day.

Senior Supt. Bersaluna headed the turn-over of the Patrol Jeep in Camp General Alejo S. Santos Parade Ground in this town wherein the recipients are the Police Stations of Calumpit and Hagonoy, while the 24 Kevlar Helmets were distributed to 1st and 2nd Bulacan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC).

“The new patrol jeeps would be beneficial to Calumpit and Hagonoy Police Stations to increase police presence and enhance police mobility wherein more positive accomplishment would be achieved in the pursuit of fighting all forms of criminality including the campaign against illegal drugs,” Bersaluna said.
