Bulacan PPO conducted community and service-oriented policing seminar

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BulPPO) conducted Community and Service-Oriented Policing (SCOP) seminar through coordination with the Bulacan National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) as part of the line-up activities for the 23rd PCR Month Celebration at Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city on Friday.

Senior Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna, acting Bulacan Provincial Director headed the Community and Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) seminar which was attended by the NAPOLCOM, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), ABC Presidents of different Cities and Municipalities in the province of Bulacan, Provincial Command Group, Staff and COPs of Bulacan.

Former Bulacan provincial director and presently Commissioner of NAPOLCOM Felizardo M. Serapio served as the guest of honor and speaker.

“The seminar will recognizing the efforts towards improving peace and order and public safety, as well as the other activity that would contribute to improve access to justice,” Serapio said.

“The parties have agreed on entering into partnership in the following undertakings, to effectively strengthen the peace and order, public safety and justice delivery mechanism in the Province of Bulacan,” he added.

Adoption of Community and Service-Oriented Policing System (CSOP) – The CSOP framework bolsters coordination and cooperation among the citizenry, local executives and the integrated law enforcement and public safety agencies existing in the locality undertaking through program or project complementation, including sharing of information, funds, personnel, and logistics.

Indeed the Bulacan police adhere with the promotion of discipline in compliance with the marching order of the Regional Director of PNP Region 3 PChief Supt. Amador V. Corpus, as directed by the Chief PNP as a key goal. (RONDA Balita Online News)
