Bulacan records 1,713 COVID-19 recoveries

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — The Bulacan Provincial Health Office (PHO) has recorded a total tally of 1,713 recovered cases of COVID-19 disease with the addition of 90 on Sunday.

Dr. Joy Gomez, PHO chief said as of Sunday 4 p.m. 80 new confirmed cases of coronavirus have recorded bringing in the total number of 3,171, wherein 1,381 are the total number of active cases.

She added out of that 1,381 active cases, 855 cases are symptomatic and 526 cases are asymptomatic.

The total fatalities according to Dr. Gomez is still 77.

Most of the recovered cases are coming from Marilao with 30 cases followed by the City of San Jose Del Monte with 26, the City of Malolos with 11, the towns of Baliwag, and Norzagaray with both 7 cases, Hagonoy 4, San Ildefonso with 3 and Angat with 1 case.

The 80 new cases of coronavirus disease are from the City of San Jose del Monte, 22 cases; Malolos with 15 new cases; Hagonoy with 8; Balagtas with 6; Plaridel and Sta. Maria with both 4 cases; Baliwag, Bulakan, Marilao, and the City of Meycauayan with 3 cases each; Bocaue and Paombong with 2 cases; Angat, Guiguinto, Norzagaray, Obando, and San Rafael with one case each.

Nine localities in the Bulacan have reached the three-digit number of cases with the highest reported in San Jose del Monte at 745 followed by Meycauayan City at 336, the City of Malolos with 318, Marilao with 282, Sta. Maria with 154, Balagtas at 130, Plaridel with 120, Bocaue with 109, and Baliwag with 103 cases while the rest of the towns registered double-digit number cases from 23 to 97.
