Camp Olivas on lockdown as 18 police, 1 civilian personnel tested positive for COVID-19

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — This camp was placed on temporary lockdown as 18 police personnel and a civilian have tested positive for COVID-19. 

Regional police director for Central Luzon Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia said that the affected police personnel and civilian were mostly asymptomatic. 

“Our personnel including the civilian who have tested positive are now placed on strict quarantine and  monitoring and are immediately transferred to our quarantine facility, we are also establishing the contact tracing  including all our PNP and Non-uniformed personnel inside the camp as well as the families of those infected,” Sermonia said. 

Sermonia added that Camp Olivas  was temporarily placed on lockdown for the disinfection of camp facilities and restrict non-essential personne while continuous swab testing is being carried out to personnel who are suspected to be infected with the viral disease. (RONDA BALITA Online)
