Cops arrested Tarlac City’s No. 6 MWP

TARLAC CITY — The Number 6 Most Wanted Person in this city was arrested during a manhunt operation conducted by police authorities Friday afternoon.

In a report submitted to P/Sr. Supt. Ritchie Posadas, Tarlac Provincial Director, stated that around 5:20 p.m. operatives of Tarlac CPS conducted manhunt operation in Brgy. San Nicolas, Tarlac City, which resulted in the arrest of Jonalyn Mercado, ranked No. 6 most wanted person of Tarlac City, 35 years old, married, a resident of the said place.

Mercado was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Judge Maria Magdalena A. Balderama of Regional Trial Court Branch 65-Tarlac City for the crime of Qualified Trafficking in Persons with no bail recommended.

The arrested person was brought to Tarlac City Police Station for proper disposition.

Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PCSupt. Amador V. Corpus said that the entire Central Luzon Police Force continues its intensified campaign to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind bars and maximizes its efforts to eradicate all forms of lawlessness in the region.
