CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan — A drug suspect was neutralized, while two other drug suspects were arrested in different anti-illegal drug sting conducted by Bulacan police on Sunday (Sept. 8).
Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Provincial Director of Bulacan identified the neutralized suspect as John Vincent Santos alias Ogs.
According to the report of P/Lt. Col. Gil A. Domingo, Chief of Police of Pulilan, on the said day in Brgy Cutcot, Pulilan, Bulacan at about 11:45 p.m., a buy-bust operation against alias Ogs was conducted.
After the consummated transaction, the suspect sensed that he was dealing with undercover operative so he drew his firearm and hastily ran while firing upon the approaching undercover lawmen, prompting the operatives to retaliate that resulted to the neutralization of the suspect.
Bulacan SOCO team processed the crime scene and recovered one caliber 38 revolver without serial number, loaded with three live cartridges and two fired cartridge and three cal. 9mm fired cartridge cases, four heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu” and buy-bust money.
Moreover, separate buy-bust operation was conducted by the anti-illegal drug operatives of San Miguel and Pulilan Police Stations that resulted to the arrest of two (2) suspects identified as 1) Guillermo Victoria Jr y Dela Cruz alias Pekto, 40 years old and 2) Cristopher Joson y Deverna alias Toper, 34 years old.
Six plastic sachets of shabu and buy-bust money were confiscated from the suspects during the operations. The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory for appropriate examination, while criminal complaint for Violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of Article II of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002) is being prepared for filing in court.
