CONCEPCION, TARLAC — A big-time drug peddler believed to be involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in this province and nearby towns of Pampanga yielded P3,400,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by anti-narcotic operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA3) – Tarlac Provincial Office and local police here along Concepcion-Capas Road, Brgy. Dutung, A Matas, of this town on Wednesday evening (Feb. 17).
The drug suspect was accompanied by a 13-year-old boy who was later on turned-over to a municipal social worker.
In his initial report submitted to PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva, PDEA3 Regional Director Christian O Frivaldo identified the arrested suspects as Luciano D. Tumaque alias Onyok, 51 years old, resident of block 4 lot 19 A1, Brgy. San Dionisio, Cavite; and a male minor, 13 years old.
Confiscated from the suspect were one-piece transparent resealable plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu weighing more or less 500 grams with an estimated street value of P3,400,000; one unit Cherry Mobile keypad cellphone and the marked money used in the entrapment operation.
Violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Art II of RA 9165 will be filed against Tumaque. (RONDA BALITA Online)
