CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A suspected drug suspect was found dead inside the Catholic Cemetery in the town of Bocaue on Friday (Aug 10) afternoon.
Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, acting Bulacan police director, identified the fatality as Von Ronnie Monteza alias Bon-bon and a resident of Green Farm Subdivision, Barangay Bagumbayan in the said town.
The victim was found dead slumped between two tombs with a mortal wound in his head and a carton placed in his body with written words of “PUSHER AKO.”
The scene of the Crime Operatives led by Chief Insp. Amelita Mendoza was requested to process the crime scene.
Recovered from the victim were a plastic sachet of suspected shabu, a plastic zip-lock containing suspected dried marijuana leaves and personal belongings of the victim.
On the other hand, a tanod official of Barangay Poblacion in Norzagaray town was apprehended in a buy-bust operation on Friday night.
Bersaluna identified the suspect as Jaime Castillo and a resident of P. Dela Merced, Barangay Poblacion in the said town and confiscated from him were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately one gram with a street value of P5,000.00 and the marked money.
