First confirmed COVID-19 patient in Bulacan recovers


CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — The first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Bulacan and in this city has already recovered from the disease and discharged from the hospital.

Ronald Soriano, information officer of the city, announced that “Patient 21, our first COVID-19 positive case from Barangay Graceville has recovered and was discharged from Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital (Tala Hospital) in the afternoon of April 6.”

The patient, a 58-year-old female, has already been sent to her house in the city, Soriano added.

Meanwhile, the provincial health office of Bulacan, said that as of Tuesday afternoon (April 7) there were 46 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bulacan wherein two have already recovered.

A total of 13 deaths were recorded in the province while there are 535 active persons under investigations (PUIs) and 125 PUIs already cleared on the other hand a total of 1,060 are considered persons under investigation (PUMs) and 3,748 PUMs already cleared. (RONDA BALITA Online)
