CITY OF MALOLOS — A construction foreman stabs dead a fellow worker in Marilao town on Sunday afternoon.
Report reaching Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, identified the victim as Joven Pili Sergio, construction worker, while the suspect was Rodolfo Ayson Rebotoc, construction foreman, both stay-in workers at Kingsforth Property Corporation in Barangay Lambakin, Marilao town.
Initial investigation showed that a fellow worker, Alejandro Alamani Pantaleon, has called the attention of their foreman for failing to return the mineral water containers he was getting from the construction site that resulted in a fight between them.
The victim tried to pacify the two but the suspect turned his attention to the former and stabbed him four times in the body and was rushed by fellow workers to Nazarenus Hospital in Meycauayan City but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician.
The suspect fled after the incident towards the direction of Northville 4B, Barangay Lambakin in Marilao town and upon receipt of information police and multiplier force of the barangay conducted follow-up operation and resulted to the arrest of the suspect and confiscated from his possession the bladed weapon (Balisong) that was used in the said incident.
