Holdupper, extortionist and 3 other law violators nabbed in Bulacan


CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — A robbery hold-up suspect and four other suspects including an extortionist were arrested during the police response of Bulacan police conducted on Wednesday (Aug. 7).

P/Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan Provincial Director, identified the robbery-hold-up suspect as Christian Estinopo, 19 years old, resident of B24, L44, Villa Elise, Brgy Masuso, Pandi Bulacan. He was arrested during the follow-up operation of Pandi police in Brgy Poblacion.

Based on the report, the victim was on board of his tricycle traversing along Gulod St, Brgy Poblacion, in the said town when three (3) suspects pretended as passengers hailed him and rode his tricycle. While on their way, one of the suspects pointed a gun at him and declared hold-up. The suspects took his sling bag containing his earnings amounting to more or less P4,000., cell phone and wallet.

The suspects then fled on foot after the incident while the victim immediately went to Pandi police station to report the incident.

Pandi police immediately conducted a follow up operation that resulted to the arrest of one of the suspects while continuous follow up operation is being conducted to locate the two at large suspects.

Meanwhile, a suspect for Extortion and Anti-Voyeurism identified as John Salalima, 50 years old, businessman, and a resident of No. 125 Barangay Nancasayan, Urdaneta City was arrested during the entrapment operation of Plaridel police in Barangay Tabang, Plaridel, Bulacan.

According to the report on July 20, 2019, the suspect threatened his victim to upload their sex video and demanded P80,000. The victim then sends the money to the suspect’s bank account thru fund transfer. Afterward, the suspect again demanded another P10,000. On August 7, 2019, the victim decided to report the incident to Plaridel police who immediately conducted entrapment operation against the suspect which resulted in his arrest after receiving the P10,000 cash from the victim.

Moreover, three thieves were arrested in separate incidents in San Rafael and Malolos. Suspects Armando Ariban y Malinao, 46 years old and Jessie Menchavez y Lomaktod, 19 years old were arrested in Barangay Mabalas-balas, San Rafael, Bulacan for taking away a rooster fighting cock while a 16-year-old minor suspect was arrested in Brgy. Look 2nd, City of Malolos, Bulacan for taking away a bicycle.

The minor suspect was caught on CCTV of the said barangay riding the victim’s classic road bicycle worth P5,000 near the victim’s residence.

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court. (RONDA Balita Online News)
