Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) launched in Bulacan

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — More than 1,000 students attended the launching of the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Kabataan Bagani, Bagong Bayani at Hiyas ng Bulacan Pavillion, in this city on Saturday.

The launching of this program was graced by Agnes Tonanes, ARD Nica 3; Dr. Teody San Andres, Vice President Bulacan State University; Julie Lucero, PDEA Bulacan; Marvin Tulyao, Director, NSTP BSU; and Atty. P/Lt. Col. Ariel Alvarado, Provincial Legal Offices, Bulacan PPO.

Students from the Bulacan State University and Bulacan Polytechnic College participated in the event aimed to educate and engage the youth in discussions about the ill-effects of illegal drugs and terrorism on society.

Bulacan State University Vice President Dr. Teody San Andres said that his gratitude to the PNP for its continuous efforts in ensuring that everyone, particularly the youth, acquires a deeper understanding about the evils of illegal drugs and terrorism.

Likewise, according to P/Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan Provincial Director, the said project which intends to organize, train and mobilize the youth and student sectors as advocacy support groups that will stand against illegal drugs and terrorism through various advocacy programs of the PNP.

“You can expect that your Philippine National Police continue to support the opposition of our administration, the fight against illegal drugs and terrorism, we are always with you and our partners and we are also expecting your youth to fulfill your duty as a person educate and serve as a voice for promoting knowledge of adverse effects and combating illegal drugs,” Bersaluna added.

The program includes Ceremonial Wearing of T-shirt, Mass Recitation of “10 Utos Ng Mga Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo; and Pledge and signing of commitment. (RONDA Balita Online News)
