Leader of newly identified criminal gang, nabbed!

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police arrested a Korean national and his cohort during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay Pampang, Angeles City on Friday afternoon.

Kim Sangsu, Korean national, 24 years old, single, a resident of Angel’s Bar, Friendship, Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City and Eclarina Danila, 27 and resident of Savannah Subdivision, Brgy. Cauayan, Angeles City were arrested by joint operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Angeles City Field Unit, Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Korean Desk Police during a buy-bust operation conducted at Sangus’s residence.

Confiscated from the duo’s possession were eight pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing approximately four grams each with an estimated street value of Php 120,000, three pieces assorted cell phones and marked money.

Charges for Violation of RA 9165 were already being filed against the arrested suspects.

According to the CIDG, Sangsu is the leader of a newly identified criminal gang involved in illegal drugs trafficking.

PRO3 Regional Director PCSupt. Amador V. Corpus said that “this concerted efforts of all police units only goes to show that we are determined to win our all-out war on illegal drugs. We continue to keep on tracking all those involved in illegal drug activities either locals or foreigners and we will not stop until they are all arrested and put in prison.” (RONDA Balita Online News)
