CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A live-in partners who are too careful not to make drug deals in public was arrested on Thursday when the deal was transferred in their rented apartment in Marilao town.
In a report submitted to P/Sr. Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan police director, P/Supt. Ricardo S. Pangan. Marilao chief of police identified the suspects as Abdulhakim Pangcoga Y Bauntong alias Steve, 23-years-old, jobless, native of Lanao Del Sur and his live-in partner Wendy Barba @ Wendy, 24, jobless, native of Meycauayan; residing in an apartment in Bernardino St. Nagbalon, Marilao town.
The duo initially met with the drug poseur buyer in a convenient store in Barangay Calvario in Meycauayan City and explained that the item was not with them and was instructed to go with them in their rented apartment in Marilao town.
After the transaction, police operatives quickly pounced on the couple and recovered 11 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 14.5 grams with a street value of P74,000.00; other drugs paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
The two arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination and appropriate criminal complaints prepared against the duo before the City Prosecutors Office, City of Meycauayan, Bulacan. (RONDA Balita Online News)
