OVER 80 percent of Filipino millennials believe that the best is yet to come for the country as they expressed approval of the leadership style of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Millennials are those who are aged 18 to 36 years.
In an online survey conducted Nov. 5 to 12 by Publicus Asia Inc. among 1,200 respondents using non-probability sampling, Duterte got the nod of 82 percent of those polled.
The President got the highest rating in Mindanao where he got the approval of 94 percent.
The survey wants to establish a point of starting reference for Filipino millennials on their politics, economics and media habits.
Seventy-four percent of the respondents said that Duterte makes them feel “optimistic,” while 71 percent said that he makes them “feel proud.”
Only 16 percent said that they are “disappointed” with the President and another 11 percent said that he makes them “feel angry.”
