Minor rape suspect nabbed in Malolos, 7 others put behind bars

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — A minor rape suspect and seven others were arrested by Bulacan police in different police responses and anti-illegal gambling operations conducted on Monday (Oct. 7).

P/Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Provincial Director of Bulacan said that a 17-year-old minor suspect alias Dannyboy was arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl in Brgy. Mojon, City of Malolos.

Meanwhile, an anti-illegal gambling operation was conducted by the elements of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) in Barangay Batia, Bocaue and arrested Kimberly De Castro y Loteriña, 22 years old, Carmela Verdillo y Cabico, 47, Setela Gumban y Bangayan 45, Armando Hayen y Contreras 45.

The suspects were caught in the act of playing illegal card games “pusoy” and recovered from their possession were two decks of playing cards and cash money amounting to P1,110 in different denominations.

Furthermore, different crime incidents were responded by the personnel of Meycauayan, Bocaue and Baliwag police that resulted in the arrest of suspects identified Abdur Rahim Sultan y Imam, 23 years old, arrested in Brgy. Saluysoy, Meycauayan City; Kaycie Reyes y Asuncion, 29, arrested in Brgy Turo, Bocaue, for Violation of RA 7610 and Edmar Samson y Marcelo, 49, arrested in Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag for Grave Threat and Violation of BP 6.

Appropriate criminal complaints against all the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court. (RONDA Balita Online)
