Obando’s No. 1 drug personality, nabbed


OBANDO, Bulacan — Through the relentless campaign of Bulacan police to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs, the top 1 listed drug personality in this town and his cohort were arrested and illegal drugs and explosives were confiscated during anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by police authorities recently.

Operatives of Obando Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy Panghulo, Obando, Bulacan which resulted in the arrest of Leonard Angelo Apolonio y Cordero @LA, 35 years old and Liberty Delos Reyes y Sevilla @Libay, 33 years old, both residents of the said place.

Confiscated from the duo’s possession and control were 5 heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, 7 rolled transparent plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves, a hand grenade with plaster, 4 caliber .45 live ammunition, digital weighing scale, lighter, one copy of Notice of Hearing issued by RTC Branch 285, Valenzuela City for Violation of RA 9165 and RA 10591 and the marked money.

Apolonio is listed no. 1 in the Drug Personality Watchlist and former surrenderee of Obando MPS.

Charges for Violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 and RA10591 in relation to Violation of the Omnibus Election Code were filed against the suspects before the Office of Bulacan Provincial Prosecutor docketed under III-04-INQ-19A-00317 to 320.

PRO3 Regional Director P/Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel said that “aside from our anti-criminality measures and stern implementation of Gun Ban, we continue to launch our anti-illegal drugs campaign and more operations will be carried out in the coming days.” (RONDA Balita Online News)
