THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducts the graduation rites of another new batch of Drug Enforcement Officers batch 2019-15 at the Development Academy of the Philippines on Tuesday (Sept. 17).
Director General Aaron N. Aquino conferred to 121 new agents their PDEA badges during the 15th PDEA Academy Commencement Exercises for the Drug Enforcement Officers’ Basic Course (DEOBC).
The 121 new agents comprise of 92 males and 29 females belong to class MAKADASIG which stands for “Mga Ahenteng Kaisa ng Ahensya sa Adbokasiya at Determinadong Aaksyon para sa Adhikaing Supilin ang Ilegal na Droga sa Bansa” They have started training at the PDEA Academy, in Silang, Cavite on March 15, 2019.
Aquino congratulated the 121 agents of DEOBC 2019-15 MAKADASIG, the fifteenth batch of drug enforcement officers who successfully completed six months of training at the PDEA Academy under the leadership of the Officer-In-Charge IAV Lirio Ilao.
“This new set of DEO’s has already rendered the required training hours of the course, both academic and non-academic, and will be assigned in the different parts of the country as part of our enhancement capability to fully address drug problem,” Aquino said adding that the Agency has a continuous recruitment program for drug enforcement officers to augment the present strength of newly installed provincial offices.
