PNP Chief Albayalde visits PRO3 for O.C.A. launching


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Director General Oscar D. Albayalde arrived at Police Regional Office 3 Wednesday morning for his first regional visit after assuming his post last April 19, 2018, and for the launching of his program thrust dubbed as O.C.A Challenge (One Commendable Act) every day.

The arrival honors for PDG Albayalde was composed of a battalion-sized police formation held at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga wherein the Chief, PNP was welcomed by PRO3 Regional Director P/Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus.

A short program for the launching of the O.C.A. Challenge was conducted which aims that every PNP personnel should do one praiseworthy action or good deed manifesting the selflessness and dedication to serve the community without asking anything in return. These kind acts need to be shared and emulated by all police personnel for them to strive harder not only as law enforcers but as public servants. Police good deed is the complete embodiment of the PNP’s work ethics and values, which is ang pagiging Magalang, Maaasahan, Mapagkakatiwalaan at Disiplinado.

During the Commander’s Time forum, PDGAlbayalde emphasized his call for every PNP personnel in the country to be an example of disciplined men and women in uniform proudly serving the people with dignity.

“To all the commanders, toe the line and never indulge in any illegal activities, our Internal Cleansing is sternly being implemented. It is high time that we change the culture of our organization and we, your superiors could not do it alone,” Albayalde added.

He also gave directives to all commanders to always be prepared and to implement the necessary security measures in order to guarantee a safe and secure Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections this May 14. (RONDA Balita Online News)
