Police arrested Korean national over illegal drugs, firearms


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A Korean national was arrested by police authorities for illegal possession of firearms, ammunition and illegal drugs at Clark International Airport, Clark Airbase, Pampanga on Tuesday early morning.

Based in a report, at about 12:15 am, personnel of Clark Airport police arrested Hoseop Yoon, who was bound for departure to Incheon South Korea and when checked was found out carrying a cal.22 pistol with 5 rounds of ammunition for cal.22 and two sachets of suspected shabu.

Charges for violations of RA 10591 and RA 9165 are already being filed against the suspect.

PRO3 Regional Director P/Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus said that “We are very eager in fighting all forms of lawlessness as well as illegal drugs and all police units are working together to eradicate, if not prevent, criminality in the region.” (RONDA Balita Online News)
