CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – Eight drug pushers fail to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday as they were apprehended in different drug stings on Tuesday and early morning of Wednesday.
Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan police director, said the eight suspects were apprehended during anti-drug police operations in the cities of San Jose del Monte and Meycauayan and in the towns of Bocaue, Plaridel and Balagtas.
Caramat identified the suspects as Mark Uchi y Salamilao @ “Mac”; and Maxene Nastasha @ “Chin Chin” from Meycauayan City; Cristina Bayombon y Ortega @ “Mamada” from Bocaue; Ernesto Dela Cruz Jr y Espiritu; and Ramie Saligan y Tandoy @ “Ramie” from Plaridel.
Meanwhile, P/Supt. Fitz Macariola, SJDM City police chief identified the arrested suspects as Archie Malbacias y Pajota, and Emma Castillo y Panizales, both resident of the City of SJDM while Chief Insp. Restituto Granil, Balagtas acting chief police nabbed Jayson Senrijas y Tolentino @ “Jayson”.
A total of 27 plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” with an approximate weight of 8.447 grams; buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the suspects.
The arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination and criminal complaints about violations of RA 9165 against the suspects were prepared for filing in court.
