PRO 3 bags Balangay Awards

Cabanatuan City Police Station headed by P/Supt. Ponciano P. Zafra received a Plaque of Recognition for being the Outstanding City Police Station -“BGen Rafael T Crame Balangay Awards” during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 was conferred two unit awards and a finalist during the awarding of the BGen. Rafael T. Crame Balangay Awards at Camp Crame, Quezon City on Monday (Feb. 11).

Olongapo City Police Office headed by P/Supt. Benjamin DL Sembrano received a Plaque of Recognition for being 1 of the 10 Finalists of “BGen Rafael T Crame Balangay Awards” during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

PRO3 Regional Director P/Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon M. Coronel said that the Cabanatuan City Police Station and Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station were among the 10 winners that each received the grand prize of P400,000 and a trophy.

Meanwhile, the Olongapo City Police Office was among the ten finalists that received P200,000 each and a certificate of recognition.

The Balangay Awards is given to those who support and contribute in the implementation of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) programs and thrust.

“This recognition will surely lift the spirits of our PRO3 personnel as we work tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of fighting criminality and wiping out illegal drugs in the region while at the same time creating harmonious and effective police-community partnership in the maintenance of peace and order and public safety,” Coronel also stated.
