PRO3 culminates 23rd PCR month


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — As the month-long celebration of the 23rd Police Community Relations (PCR) with this year’s theme “Tapat na Serbisyo at Paglilingkod ng Kapulisan, Kaagapay ang Mamamayan, Hatid ay Kaunlaran” culminates, Police Regional Office 3 held a program on Monday at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The program coincided with the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony with Engr. Ferdinand Z. Caylao, President, Rotary of City of San Fernando as the guest of honor and speaker.

It was highlighted by the presentation of awards and recognition to deserving PRO3 commissioned and non- commissioned PNP personnel and offices/units that supported and contributed to various PCR activities within Region 3.

Among the awardees were: for Individual Awards: Sr. Supt. Ritchie Medardo A. Posadas, PD Tarlac PPO; Chief Insp. Palmyra D. Guardaya, Mondaca MPS; members of the REgional Legal Service 3 headed by Supt. Anselmo Andayan, Supt. Darwin B. Paz. Supt. Mellany B. Basañez, Supt. Ariel Alvarado, Supt. Dangal Masigla; SPO1Rogelyn Castro and PO2 Paolo Pangan;

Unit Awards: Tarlac PPO headed by Sr. Supt. Ritchie Medardo A. Posadas; Olongapo City Police Office headed by Sr. Supt. Melchor B. Cabalza; Cabanatuan City Police Station headed by Supt. Ponciano Zafra; and, Moncada Municipal Police Station headed by Chief Insp. Palmyra Guardaya.

The month-long celebration includes different activities that highlighted the importance of a solid partnership between the police and the community in the effective maintenance of peace and order and community development.

Annually, the month of July is declared as Police Community Relations Month with the National Police Commission as its lead agency. (RONDA Balita Online News)
