PRO3 joins 121st Independence Day

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Amidst the pouring rain, Police Regional Office 3 joined in the commemoration of the 121st Anniversary of the Philippine Independence in a simple program and releasing of doves on Wednesday morning (June 12) at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando.

All PNP uniformed and non-uniformed personnel attended said activity which has for its theme: “Kalayaan 2019: Tapang ng Bayan, Malasakit sa Mamamayan.”

PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Joel Napoleon M. Coronel gave directives to all provincial and city police offices as well as the different city and municipal police stations to hold similar activities simultaneously.

Part of the activity was the reading of Philippine National Police chief, Police Gen. Oscar Albayalde’s message wherein he emphasized the PNP’s campaigns against illegal drugs, criminality, corruption and the upholding of human rights which achievements will be the keys to a truly free country.

“Ipakita natin ang tunay na puso ng pulis – ang pusong may malasakit at handang mag-alay ng buhay para sa sambayanan, ang pusong magiting at matapang sa harap ng anumang hamon at panganib, at ang pusong may takot at paniwala sa Diyos at nag-aalab sa pagmamahal sa bayan,” Albayalde’s message.

Meanwhile, Coronel called out for public support and cooperation in preventing untoward incidents and crime situations during this celebration.

“We are once again appealing to the public to report any suspicious persons, activities and unusual occurrences in the community to the nearest police station or through PRO3 hotline 09998838327/09176235700,” Coronel further added. (RONDA Balita Online News)
