CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — At the jumpstart of a new week of untiring public service, Police Regional Office 3, on Monday (Jan. 18) has its plate full with series of activities at hand.
As PRO3 continues to link arms with its partners in the pillars of the Criminal Justice System, Atty Jesus Simbulan, Regional State Prosecutor graced the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Consequently, in line with the on-going skills enhancement of personnel, the simultaneous opening ceremonies of the Criminal Investigation Course (CIC) with 30 participants from PRO3 and 3 from AFP was also held with P/Major Gen. Ferdinand O. Divina, Director, Directorate for Human Resource Development Division as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
As part of PRO3’s shoot capability enhancement, the formal turnover of 83 pieces of Galil rifles was held at the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office wherein a press conference on RTF- ELCAC’s accomplishments presided by PRO 3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Valeriano T. De Leon with Brig. Gen. Andrew Castelo, Commander, 703rd BDE, PA, and Nueva Ecija Provincial Administrator Atty. Alejandro Abesamis also took place.
The presscon was highlighted with the giving of financial assistance by RD De Leon to 11 surrenderers from Nueva Ecija. Likewise, Ugnayang Pambarangay was conducted at Brgy San Manuel, Guimba, Nueva Ecija to sustain the Local Peace Engagement activities of RTF-ELCAC.
“This is a right motivation to launch ourselves back into work-mode as we begin another working week to perform our mandated tasks of serving and protecting the people,” RD De Leon said.
