“I would like to give credit and full recognition to the Provincial Government of Bulacan especially to Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado for really pushing the industries in Bulacan dahil ito ang tunay na pagkakaroon ng tunay na katahimikan, trabaho at hanapbuhay, kaya congratulations and let us give him a hand,” the senator said.
The senator also shared his ideas on the situations being faced by the country at present like the transportation crisis wherein he requested for support for the realization of the efficient and modern railway system, which according to him is the backbone of the economy.
Meanwhile, sharing his views on the construction side, Alvarado said it needs planning as well as architects, engineers, and laborers in order to finish the project the soonest possible time thus attaining progress quickly.
Investors are coming to the North and according to the governor, it needs good planning.
“Patuloy po ang mga konstruksyon sa ating lalawigan na tinaguriang ‘Gateway to the North’. Nariyan ang North Luzon Expressway, MRT 7 at railways. Marami ding padating na negosyo at kailangan ang ating paghahanda at pagpaplano nang sa gayon, ang ating pangarap ay hindi manatiling pangarap kundi isang reyalidad,” the governor said.
Also, Engr. Ramiro Cruz and Engr. Alejandro Baltazar from the Bulacan Engineering Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways discussed ‘The Road Networking Progress’ in the said conference with the theme “Construction Day”.
