CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — A suspected drug dealer was killed in an alleged shootout with police officers in this city while 2 others fell in Bulacan anti-illegal drug operations on Tuesday (Oct. 8).
P/Col. Chito G. Bersaluna, Bulacan Provincial Director identified the neutralized drug peddler as Michael Kristan Dandan, a resident of Brgy. Santa Cruz 1, City of San Jose Del Monte.
Based on the report by P/Lt. Col. Orlando Castil Jr., city police chief, the suspect drew his gun when he sensed he had transacted with an undercover agent in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Paculis, Barangay Gaya-Gaya about 12:45 a.m.
Castil said a caliber .38 revolver, 10 sachets of shabu and a sachet of marijuana were recovered from the fatality.
Meanwhile, two suspects were arrested in different buy-bust operations conducted by the anti-illegal drug operatives of Obando and Pandi police.
The arrested suspects were identified as Romeo Bauza y Hebres alias Agie, 50 years old, married, businessman, a resident of Osmeña Street, Brgy. Pag-asa, Obando, included in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list of Obando police; and Romeo Cruz Y Ymas alias Jonjon, 42 years old, single, married, motor mechanic, a native of Brgy. Dulong Bayan Santa. Maria, a resident of Brgy. Siling Bata Pandi, Bulacan, included in BADAC watch list of Pandi police.
Seized were seven pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets of “shabu” and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory for appropriate examination, while criminal charges against them are now being prepared for filing in court. (RONDA Balita Online)
