SM City Marilao brings early Christmas cheers as audience revel during the Royal Christmas launch at Marilao. The 30 ft Christmas centerpiece serves as a seasonal centerpiece in the mall’s busiest atrium. The centerpiece is Royal British inspired with elegantly embellished with Christmas balls and ornaments in gold, silver, and sparkling red. It is also surrounded by life-size toy soldiers and more than a hundred golden gift boxes.

MARILAO, Bulacan — Nearly 20,000 LED lights and ornaments, as well as hundred yards of garlands and wreaths, bedecked the 30 feet Christmas tree as SM City here lighted its iconic centerpiece for its two-month-long celebration of the 2019 holidays.

Throughout the years, SM’s holiday centerpieces have always been a part of the longstanding tradition that ushers in Christmas time in the province.

“The Annual Christmas Launch is one of SM’s traditions that has been steadfast for more than a decade,” said SM City Marilao Mall Manager Engr. Emmanuel Gatmaitan.

This year’s launch is Royal British inspired; elegantly embellished with Christmas balls and ornaments in gold, silver, and sparkling red. It is also surrounded by life-size toy soldiers and more than a hundred golden gift boxes.

As tradition dictates, this intricately designed 30 ft. Christmas tree will serve as a seasonal centerpiece in the mall’s busiest atrium. The sheer height and immense density of lights on the Christmas tree will surely make it picturesque and a ‘must-see’ attraction for both young and old. It will also set the stage for holiday shopping and entertainment while encouraging mall patrons to capture those picture-perfect holiday memories.

Kids rejoice as SM City Marilao lighted its iconic centerpiece for its two-month-long celebration of the 2019 holidays. The intricately designed 30 ft. Christmas tree is adorned with more than 20,000 LED lights and ornaments as well as hundred yards of garlands and wreaths.

Because Christmas is all about magic, SM City Marilao makes the season unforgettable on the following weeks with dazzling entertainment, drone shows and family-filled Christmas activities that will surely thrill shoppers.

On December 01, SM City Marilao will hold the grandest Christmas Parade in the province. Taking inspiration from Macy’s New York Parade, the attraction will feature big, sparkly Christmas floats to signal the countdown to Christmas Eve. This attraction will be paraded around the perimeter of the mall and will be accompanied by big mixes of entertainment including dancing contingents in stilts, LED lighted-larger-than-life-costumes, New York City Christmas feel floats and supersized inflatable balloon sculptures.

Because Christmas would not be Christmas without sharing, gift-giving of Bears of Joy highlighted SM City Marilao’s Royal Christmas launch. Philippine soldiers put a smile on children’s faces as they give SM Bears of Joy.

More than just a platform for popular Nickelodeon characters, SM City Marilao’s Sparkling Holiday Parade will also showcase spectacular lights display as well as an incredible line-up of popular performers and marching bands that will surely create timeless memories for the whole family.

SM City Marilao’s Christmas Launch capped off with a musical and world-class performance from First Filipino to win the World Championships of Performing Arts title, Jed Madela. Gift giving of Bears of Joy likewise highlighted the program.
