SM City San Jose del Monte once again treated their customers with special needs with an exclusive and special cinematic experience as they recently watched the journey of The Good Dinosaur, Arlo.
A nearly 200 participants from different groups of PWD and SPED in San Jose del Monte City joined the world where dinosaurs and humans lived side-by-side. They have witnessed how an Apatosaurus dinosaur makes an unlikely human friend. The movie was presented with added features to tailor fit their hearing and visual conditions.
“The Good Dinosaur” is a great movie especially for persons with special needs and younger moviegoers as it teaches us how to face challenges that nature might throw at us. It also sends a message that we should accept who we are, and despite our differences with others we could work and get along well – like Arlo, a timid young dinosaur, and a boy named Spot, who helped each other against their predators while they were on their journey to home. It is a self-confidence and self-worth booster to the community of persons with special needs and an eye-opener to the normal people.
This special movie screening is led by SM Cares in partnership with the CALL Foundation of the Blind, Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) and SM Cinema.
